About Us

In 1996 Jim and Karen opened Coco’s 520 Bar and Grille on fifth street in the Oregon District. In 2005 Coco’s Bistro was born at 515 Wayne Avenue. In 2011 we moved to 250 Warren Street. Jim has been the loving steward of all three restaurants, making shells of buildings into spaces of warmth and invitation. Karen embodies hospitality, creating a sense of welcome and acceptance for any guest who walks through our doors.  

Coco’s emerged from a desire to make approachable, delightful food in an elegant atmosphere. Coco’s has had an evolving presence in the Dayton community for nearly 20 years. Our form has changed to reflect our commitment to growth, our commitment to making a beautiful place to gather has sustained.
